Before Your Session
Once your session is booked, we’ll start planning all the details together. This is where the fun begins! We’ll choose a theme, color palette, and overall style that fits your vision—whether that’s soft and timeless, playful and colorful, or something a little more unique. I’ll also guide you on outfit choices so everything feels cohesive and elevated.
You don’t have to stress about the small details—I’ll help make sure everything comes together beautifully.
The Setup
When you arrive, your set will be fully styled and ready to go. I design each setup to feel clean, high-end, and focused on your baby, so the images feel timeless rather than overly busy. The cake is usually introduced after we capture a few “clean” portraits, giving you a mix of classic and playful images.
During the Session
Every baby reacts differently—and that’s part of the magic. Some dive right into the cake, while others take their time exploring. There’s no pressure for your baby to “perform.” I gently guide the session while letting their personality lead the way.

The Cake Smash Moment
Once the cake comes out, things can get a little messy—in the best way. Babies love the textures, the taste, and the freedom to explore. Whether they smash, squish, or politely poke at the cake, we’ll capture it all.
Clean-Up & Splash (Optional)
Many sessions include a simple clean-up or splash portion afterward. This is not only practical, but it also gives us a few extra adorable moments—think bubbles, giggles, and a freshly cleaned (but still happy) baby.
After Your Session
After your session, I carefully go through your images and hand-edit the best moments. You’ll receive a gallery filled with a beautiful mix of portraits and candid memories that you’ll treasure for years to come.
